One of the best things about working in the bridal industry is seeing a bride’s face light up when she sees herself in THE dress for the first time. There is really nothing like trying on a wedding dress that gives one an abundance of confidence. And why shouldn’t we have that much confidence every day?!
Sometimes we can get caught up in the expectations and ideas of what our world wants from us. I think we can all use a reminder to turn our backs on those standards and focus on loving ourselves as well as each other. Having confidence truly is key in order to do just that. Have confidence in who Christ is and the beautiful person He created you to be. By doing that you are also giving yourself the confidence in your abilities and your character. Whether it’s planning your wedding or just doing everyday tasks, remember to lift your shoulders and keep your head up, so you can go through life with the pure joy God intended you to have each day. After all, you’re never fully dressed without a smile. :)
